As a tribute, in gratitude and recognition of our FAST team’s extreme generosity in giving their time, expertise and amazing skills, the following is a brief summary of our story and achievements…
FAST Trauma Support was born in March 2020 out of an emergency response and desire to help our frontliners in the NHS and Emergency Services survive the horrific fears, overwhelm and trauma brought on by the initial COVID-19 outbreak in the way we knew how to best – through the evidence-based therapy Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT- tapping)
It is now over 5 years since FAST began, and we have supported hundreds of clients who have accessed our service and delivered thousands of sessions, over 95% of them free of charge.
Our volunteer team of Advanced-trained, trauma-informed EFT practitioners have gone above and beyond to use their expertise to help those who work in this normally rather closed-door sector to therapies like EFT.
We have kept records throughout and are proud to announce we have received 100% positive results and feedback, with many saying how it has been life-changing (and some life-saving), all in up to just 4 sessions.
Most importantly, follow-up feedbacks show the results obtained have lasted.
The FAST team have realised during these 5 years, the importance of our role as PIONEERS in opening the minds of NHS and ES decision-makers to acknowledge, accept and employ EFT to support the mental health of their employees.
As well as our EFT sessions, we have attended NEC Emergency Services and other relevant shows; our founding director has spoken on many stages, and met with many influencers; we’ve completed research trials with Police constabularies, and university research into PTSD within the Emergency Services…and so much more.
We now hand over the baton to all professional clinical EFT trained practitioners to strengthen the flame we have lit!
To quote one serving police officer after sessions with FAST:
“I’d go as far as to say that every single human, no matter what profession, should have this FAST (i.e. EFT) support. It would make a much better world!”
